Basketball Recap: Pleasant Home Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

It's playoff time, and Pleasant Home had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Kinston Bulldogs 71-55 on Saturday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pleasant Home's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Kinston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Pleasant Home will face off against Florala at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florala will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Pleasant Home surely won't give up without a fight. Kinston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
