Football Game Preview: Piedmont Academy Cougars vs. John Milledge Academy Trojans

Piedmont Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Moss led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Burrell is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, John Milledge Academy never let their opponents score last Friday. They blew past Mount de Sales Academy, posting a 42-0 win. The Trojans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

John Milledge Academy's win came from a few key players Piedmont Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lewis Cheney, who threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Those 225 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Javaris Hurt was another key player, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

John Milledge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Piedmont Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
