Football Recap: Miami Beach Comes Up Short

Miami Beach fell victim to Coral Gables and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Cavaliers and fell 63-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 28, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Miami Beach now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coral Gables, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Miami Beach and Coral Gables will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hi-Tides are set to take on their familiar foe Dr. Krop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Coral Gables will square off against rival Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
