Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McKenzie walked away with it. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 39-0 win over the Fayetteville Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 12 games by 29 points or more so far this season.

McKenzie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Brown out in front who threw for 268 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 80 yards and one score. Brown got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 72 yards. Another player making a difference was Jacobi Melton, who picked up 169 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Coming up, McKenzie will face off against South Pittsburg at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last 13 contests. Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
