Softball Recap: Milford Gets the Win

Milford proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Souhegan Sabers 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted against the Sabers since May 6, 2019.

Milford's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Molly Miles, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Nadia Dutton was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Souhegan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.

Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Souhegan, they will face off against Pelham at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabers are facing the Pythons at the right time seeing as the Pythons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
