Volleyball Recap: West Bend East Comes Up Short

West Bend East saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Appleton North Lightning by a score of 2-1.

Olivia Daute paced West Bend East's offense, picking up six kills. Daute got some help from Shealee McCreary and her 11 assists.

West Bend East has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Appleton North, they moved to 2-22 with that win, which also ended their 12-match losing streak.

Coincidentally, West Bend East and Appleton North will both be playing Waukesha West the next time they take the court. The Lightning will head out to face the Wolverines at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Suns will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
