Volleyball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

Collinsville lost against O'Fallon back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kahoks fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. While the Kahoks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-20 in the first set.

Collinsville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for O'Fallon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Collinsville has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 20th. As for O'Fallon, they will head out to face off against Belleville East at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
