Baseball Recap: Wausaukee Takes a Loss

Wausaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-10 to the Lena Wildcats. Even if the Rangers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Wausaukee's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lena, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wausaukee is set to take on their familiar foe Gillett at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lena will face off against rival Niagara at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
