Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Churchill Chargers at home by a 54-38 margin. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Chargers are ranked 215th).

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Churchill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Franklin has already played their next contest (against Stevenson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Churchill has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Dearborn.
