Softball Recap: Teton Beats Sugar-Salem for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Teton waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Sugar-Salem Diggers by a score of 10-6. This was a revenge game for the Timberwolves: when they faced off against the Diggers on April 11th, they had to take a 21-19 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Kadence Hansen, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Kapri Eiden also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Teton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sugar-Salem, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Coming up, Teton will face off against South Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.26 runs per game on average), something the Timberwolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. Sugar-Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
