Basketball Recap: Andover Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Andover had won six straight road games and Joshua Kim did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Andover Trojans walked away with a 53-40 victory over the Eisenhower Tigers thanks in part to Kim, who to rack up 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last five games he's played.

Owen Allman was another key player, on his way to 13 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%).

Despite the loss, Eisenhower still got an impressive performance from Pierce Blue, who en route to 24 points along with six boards and four steals. That was a full 60% of Eisenhower's points, marking the third time in a row Blue has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cohen Ho, who put up five points and six rebounds.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Andover will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Goddard at 7:30 p.m. As for Eisenhower, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
