After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pasadena, Duarte was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Bassett Olympians by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Bassett scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 25-19.

Duarte's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Bassett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duarte will welcome Workman at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bassett, they will host Western Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
