The Chino Valley Cougars pushed their score all the way to 61 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Camp Verde on the road by a decisive 77-61 margin. Chino Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Caleb Bahe, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds for Camp Verde. Bahe is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Sanabria, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Chino Valley dropped their record down to 5-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Camp Verde, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-11.

Chino Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Scottsdale Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Camp Verde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
