Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chatham Central). Everything went their way against the Central Carolina Academy Eagles on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-5 victory. The Bears not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th.

Chatham Central's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Central Carolina Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Chatham Central will take on East Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
