Volleyball Game Preview: Arkport Central Bluejays vs. Hammondsport Lakers

The Arkport Central Bluejays will head out to square off against the Hammondsport Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hammondsport took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Arkport Central, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, Arkport Central made easy work of Campbell-Savona and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Hammondsport unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Houghton Academy, falling 3-0.

Arkport Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Hammondsport, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Arkport Central took their win against Hammondsport when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
