Soccer Game Preview: Hoover vs. Berea-Midpark

The Hoover Vikings will square off against the Berea-Midpark Titans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Hoover is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Medina just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. Neither they nor the Battling Bees could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept Hoover happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 9th.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berea-Midpark). They blew past Elyria 9-6 on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Jack Krzys as he scored six goals for his team.

Berea-Midpark's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4-1 and their overall record up to 2-8-3. With that draw, Hoover's record moves to 7-3-5.
