Softball Recap: Random Lake's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Random Lake managed to slip by Laconia the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 12-2 to the Spartans on Monday. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Random Lake fell to 4-1. As for Laconia, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Coming up, Random Lake will take on Lomira at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Laconia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-8 win against Campbellsport on the 15th.
