Basketball Recap: Kingston Takes a Loss

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Bismarck Indians 71-8. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-2.

Ashley Hawkins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bismarck, going 8 of 15 en route to 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Karlee Dickey was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bismarck, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Kingston will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Valley at 7:30 p.m. As for Bismarck, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-32 win against Lesterville on the 28th.
