Soccer Recap: Rolla Takes a Loss

Rolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Capital City Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, Rolla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Capital City are ranked 31st).

Rolla's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Capital City, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Rolla will be playing in front of their home fans against Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Waynesville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Capital City, they will take on Father Tolton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
