Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Columbia's offense. They fell just short of the Needville Bluejays by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Roughnecks haven't had much luck with the Bluejays recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 14-11-2. As for Needville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coincidentally, Columbia and Needville will both be playing Brazosport the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will host the Exporters at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Roughnecks will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
