For Santana's part, Brandon Landers made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Landers posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since April 1st. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Santana pushed their record up to 10-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mount Miguel, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Santana's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mount Miguel hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315.
