Basketball Recap: Classen SAS Triumphs

While Classen SAS didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the El Reno Indians with a 61-55 victory on Friday. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 72-55 loss the last time these two teams met.

Classen SAS' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.0 points over those games. As for El Reno, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Classen SAS wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-47 win against Oklahoma City S on the 10th. As for El Reno, they have also already played their next contest, a 44-36 loss against Anadarko on the 10th.
