Softball Recap: Gorham Fayette Comes Up Short

Gorham Fayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against North Central, falling 11-1. Gorham Fayette was not able to make up for their loss to North Central from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Gorham Fayette saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Sliwinski, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Bailey Jennings was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Gorham Fayette's record is now 0-9. As for North Central, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gorham Fayette will square off against rival Edon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Central is set to take on their familiar foe Hilltop at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
