Basketball Recap: Antlers Comes Up Short

Antlers lost against Holdenville back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Antlers Bearcats took a blow against the Holdenville Wolverines, falling 67-23. The Bearcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

Dah?Myah Olden continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Holdenville, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Olden is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Bella Smith was another key player, putting up eight points along with five assists and five boards.

Antlers is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Holdenville, their record is now 3-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Antlers Bearcats challenge the Battiest Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Holdenville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-41 loss against Tushka on the 13th.
