Deshler posted their closest win since September 27th on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Silver Lake Mustangs 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Deshler found their leader in sophomore Kaleesha Mcbride, who had 11 digs.

Deshler was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Deshler is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season. As for Silver Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.

Deshler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silver Lake, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on the 21st.
