Basketball Recap: Alba-Golden Takes a Loss

Alba-Golden was the 45-27 winner over Cayuga when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Alba-Golden Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 37-36 to the Cayuga Wildcats.

Alba-Golden's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Cayuga, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-10.

When Alba-Golden and Cayuga next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Alba-Golden will try to stop LaPoynor's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cayuga will challenge Martins Mill and their four-game winning streak at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
