Soccer Recap: Clay-Chalkville Comes Up Short

Clay-Chalkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Pell City Panthers. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Clay-Chalkville struggled afterwards.

Clay-Chalkville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pell City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Clay-Chalkville will host Huffman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Huffman will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clay-Chalkville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pell City, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Indian Springs on the 4th.
