Soccer Recap: Cape Hatteras Takes a Loss

Cape Hatteras was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northeastern Eagles, falling 5-2. That's two games in a row now that Cape Hatteras have lost by exactly three goals.

Maya Stuart and Acelia Davis scored both of Cape Hatteras' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Cape Hatteras' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Northeastern, their record is now 5-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Hatteras will take on Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeastern, they will face off against Hertford County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Northeastern will be up against Hertford County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
