Volleyball Recap: Morrill Extends Winning Streak to 16 + How To Watch

Morrill entered their tilt with Bayard on Monday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morrill took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-13.

Katelyn Walker paced Morrill's offense, picking up nine kills. Walker got some help from Makayla Dykes and her 14 assists. Walker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Morrill's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Bayard, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16.

Morrill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Wauneta-Palisade on the 28th. Bayard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
