Basketball Recap: North Lakes Academy Comes Up Short

North Lakes Academy lost against Legacy Christian Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Lakes Academy Huskies took a blow against the Legacy Christian Academy Lions, falling 90-41. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Lions are ranked 102nd).

The loss snapped North Lakes Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

North Lakes Academy will head out on the road to square off against Spectrum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spectrum knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully North Lakes Academy likes a good challenge. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 104-39 victory against Lakes International Language Academy on the 9th.
