Volleyball Recap: Tharptown Comes Up Short on the Road Against Itawamba Agricultural

Tharptown had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Itawamba Agricultural Indians by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Itawamba Agricultural's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Coincidentally, Tharptown and Itawamba Agricultural will both be playing Red Bay the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
