Softball Game Preview: Watson Chapel Wildcats vs. Hazen Hornets

The Watson Chapel Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Hazen Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Watson Chapel and six for Hazen dating back to last season.

Watson Chapel is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 18 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Hot Springs on Monday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 17-2. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hazen was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 12-2 to Palestine-Wheatley. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly ten runs.

Watson Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hazen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
