Soccer Game Preview: West Cabarrus vs. Hickory Ridge + How To Watch

The West Cabarrus Wolverines will square off against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hickory Ridge will be up against a hot West Cabarrus squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 19. The Wolverines never let Central Cabarrus get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Thursday. Given West Cabarrus' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Central Cabarrus are ranked 483rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Cabarrus hit Central Cabarrus with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden Torres (2), Pablo Hernandez, and Giovani Mercado.

Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge got the win against Harding University on Thursday by a conclusive 4-1.

West Cabarrus' win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Hickory Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3-2.

West Cabarrus beat Hickory Ridge by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-1. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Ragin' Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
