Football Game Preview: Brooks vs. Eupora

Eupora will be playing at home against Brooks at on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely !) with wins against their previous opponents.

Eupora dodged a bullet last Thursday, finishing off Leflore County 23-22. Among those leading the charge for Eupora was senior Edwin Herard, who rushed for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Herard has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.

Meanwhile, Brooks might be getting used to good results now that the team has three wins in a row. They had just enough and edged out East Webster 26-23. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Their wins bumped Eupora to 5-3 and Brooks to 7-1. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
