Softball Recap: St. John Paul II's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

St. John Paul II can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against the Brindlee Mountain Lions as they made off with a 9-2 win. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2018.

Kyley Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Lesly Fiero, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Coincidentally, St. John Paul II and Brindlee Mountain will both be playing Kate Duncan Smith DAR the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
