Soccer Recap: Luling Takes a Loss

Luling lost against Gonzales back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Luling Eagles fell just short of the Gonzales Apaches by a score of 1-0.

Luling's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Gonzales, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Luling will challenge Cole at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gonzales, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against La Vernia at 7:00 p.m.
