Fans got a thrill when Zach Wawrzyniak and Corey Russi connected against Clay. The connection went for 73 yards, the longest such play in 5A District 4 this season.

The Blue Devils scaled the state rankings by moving to 74 from 113 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Clay was able to move up by besting Ponte Vedra 48-21.

The Sharks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wawrzyniak threw for 380 yards and Russi had 158 yards receiving. On the ground Kurtis Willingham contributed 49 yards. Austin Reyes helped Ponte Vedra's passing attack out by catching 9 balls for 107 yards.
