Baseball Recap: Westfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westfield can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the James Madison Warhawks on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Warhawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Westfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Sanders, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Westfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for James Madison, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home.

As of now, neither Westfield nor the Warhawks have any future games scheduled.
