Basketball Game Preview: Dade Christian Warriors vs. Coral Park Rams

The Dade Christian Warriors will take on the Coral Park Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Dade Christian came up short against Divine Savior Academy and fell 68-57. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Sharks are ranked 54th).

Kosta Raicevic put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clorvens Celine, who posted six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Coral Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against Varela by a score of 59-50 on Thursday.

Dade Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season. As for Coral Park, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Dade Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Coral Park in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 50-46 victory. Does Dade Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coral Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
