Volleyball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dunbar can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Roger Bacon Spartans on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Wolverines seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-2, 25-17.

Dunbar is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Roger Bacon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.

Dunbar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roger Bacon, they will take on Bishop Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
