King Cove proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 33) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Bristol Bay Angels 47-46. The T-Jacks and Rookies haven't had any issues with the Angels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Bristol Bay lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Riley Aurilia, who posted 14 points. Aitu Lilo was another key player, putting up 12 points.

King Cove's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Bristol Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Looking ahead, King Cove will challenge Sand Point at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Sand Point has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Bristol Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
