Basketball Recap: Emerald Ridge Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Puyallup, Emerald Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Skyview Storm, sneaking past 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jaguars have posted since January 16th.

Emerald Ridge's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Skyview, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Coming up, Emerald Ridge will square off against Rogers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rogers knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Emerald Ridge likes a good challenge. Skyview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
