Baseball Recap: Superior Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Central last Wednesday, Superior Central came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Dickinson Nordics on Monday. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Nordics when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jaykob Dahm made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Superior Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Dickinson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior Central will host Manistique at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Dickinson, they will take on Kingsford at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
