Football Game Preview: Mt. Ararat vs. Morse

Morse will challenge Mt. Ararat on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Morse don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

There's no need to mince words: Morse lost to Leavitt last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-49. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Morse.

Meanwhile, Mt. Ararat have had to suffer through a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Westbrook with a sharp 44-22 win. Mt. Ararat were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Mt. Ararat's victory lifted them to 2-5 while Morse's loss dropped them down to 3-4. We'll see if Mt. Ararat's success rolls on or if Morse are able to steal their positive momentum.
