Football Recap: Make It 26 in a Row for Cherry Creek + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Cherry Creek had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 21-13 victory over the Valor Christian Eagles on Saturday. Those 21 points were actually the fewest the Bruins have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

It was another big night for Jayden Fox, who rushed for 103 yards and two TDs. Ty Goettsche also helped out with an impressive 117 receiving yards.

Valor Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Coleman, who picked up 161 receiving yards. Coleman showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 58 yards.

The win keeps Cherry Creek at an undefeated 13-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 30.4 points thus far. As for Valor Christian, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Cherry Creek will take on Ralston Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine contests. Valor Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
