Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They put the hurt on the Hardin Northern Polar Bears with a sharp 51-31 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since February 24, 2024.
Catherine Overs and Addy Bacon certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Overs posted nine points and six boards, while Bacon scored nine points and three steals. Bacon has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Olivia Camper also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
Jefferson moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Hardin Northern, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
