Baseball Recap: Southeastern RVT Comes Up Short

Southeastern RVT extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-11 in the process. They came up short against the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Craftsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in April.

As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Bristol-Plymouth RVT's part, the team relied heavily on Kyle Weldon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Weldon has posted since back in April. Antonio Cirino was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Coming up, Southeastern RVT will head out to challenge Wareham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bristol-Plymouth RVT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
