Volleyball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pandora-Gilboa had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Columbus Grove Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pandora-Gilboa was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Corrin Luginbill paced Pandora-Gilboa's offense, picking up 19 kills. Luginbill got some help from Cora Hovest and her 37 assists. Luginbill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pandora-Gilboa's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Columbus Grove, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pandora-Gilboa will challenge Ada at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbus Grove, they will take on Kalida at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
