Basketball Recap: Harvester Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Harvester Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They managed a 91-87 win over Cornerstone Prep Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Cornerstone Prep Academy lost, don't look at Seth Bledsoe. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 42 points and 14 rebounds. Bledsoe's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Simeon Greene was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 11 points and eight boards.

Harvester Christian Academy's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Cornerstone Prep Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

As of now, neither Harvester Christian Academy nor Cornerstone Prep Academy have any future games scheduled.
