Basketball Recap: East Grand Comes Up Short

East Grand won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were outmatched by the Shead Tigers and fell 96-17. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

East Grand's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Shead, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

East Grand will face off against Katahdin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Katahdin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. Shead has already played their next match, a 50-44 loss against Narraguagus on the 21st.
